John – A year older than the last time I wrote, but probably not much wiser. Stilled filled with a sense of adventure, but also with a thirst for “knowing” and “understanding”.
Dad (Carlo) – A straight shooter who’s genetically predisposed to tell it like it is. Tall, lean and tough in body and mind. A textbook example of a Northern Italian.
Mom (Graziella) – The true embodiment of all things you’d expect a Southern Italian mother to be. Passionate, loving and generous. She’s the matriarch of my entire extended family. Defender to the death of all family members, even if they’re in the wrong. She sees a little bit of good in everyone.
